Suggestions

1)   You can choose between two flights with different tolerance: the normal flight accepts a range of +- 100 feet and +- 10 knots, the more difficult flight accepts a range of +- 50 feet and +- 5 knots (it is very hard to fly!). Considering that these ranges are very difficult to appreciate on the gauges, I suggest to active the function that report on the screen the most important flight’s parameter (Shift+Z).

2)    To be able to listen vocal messages verify if in ‘Option’->’Setting’->’Sound’ the cursors related to Lesson and Environment are enabled  and at least on the middle of their course.

3) The file aircraft.cfg of the Cessna 182 will be overwrite. If you already installed a program that modified this file make a backup before install 'The Challenge'. Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/c182/aircraft.cfg

4) If you speak about this product with your friends don't tell them what you saw during the flight J.

Installation

The the_challenge_eng.zip (1.7Mb) file contain executable file install_challenge.exe  that  installs all the necessary at the right place on your hard disk. After  installation you must active the related scenery: from the main window of Flight Simulator select ‘Settings’ -> ‘Scenery Library…’->’Add Area…’ go to ‘Add on Scenery’ directory, select ‘The Challenge’ directory and click on the ‘OK’ button. Remember that with Fs2004 is necessary to restart simulator to have added the scenery.

How to start “The Challenge”

From ‘Flight’->‘Select a Flight’ in the section 1 ‘Choose a category’  select ‘The Challenge’ and in the section 2 ‘Choose a flight’ the flight “The Challenge (normal)” that has a tolerance of +-100 feet and +- 10 knots, or “The Challenge (more difficult) that has a tolerance of +-50 feet and +-5 knots according to your pilot’s capability. After takeoff, when you'll be cleared,  follow heading indicator to flying gate by gate… good luck!!!
